DESCRIPTION:The Danville Art League is having its annual Sharon Schmitz Regional Open Art Competition next month. This competition is open to any artist\, 18 years of age or older\, from within a 150 mile radius of Danville. It is a non-juried event. Cash awards will be given for Best of Show\, First Place\, Second Place and Third Place in six categories. All work must be original and not copied from any copyrighted image. Drop off entries with an entry form and fee of $20 for members and $25 for non-members on Saturday\, April 4 from 9 am until 2 pm at the Danville Art League. Entry forms are available at the Art League located at 320 N. Franklin Street and on their website: www.danvilleartleague.com.
