The Vermilion Heritage Foundation is soliciting sealed bids from qualified general contractors for the renovation of the lower-level dressing room area of the Historic Fischer Theatre, located at 158 North Vermilion Street, Danville, Illinois.

The project includes demolition and renovation of existing lower-level spaces beneath the stage and construction of new dressing rooms, restrooms, showers, lounge areas, and green room facilities.

A mandatory pre-bid site tour will be held on June 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Fischer Theatre.

The project requires compliance with Illinois Business Enterprise Program (BEP) participation goals, with 16% of vendors certified as BEP vendors, subject to grant administration approval.
