August 25: Teen Universal Yums. Ready to snack your way around the world? Each month, teens can explore a different country through its unique treats, fun trivia, and music from that culture. It’s a flavorful, interactive experience you won’t want to miss! 4:30 – 5:30 PM in the 2nd Floor Teen Space. Intended for ages 13 – 19.

August 25: Wee Wigglers Story Time. Join us for action rhymes, stories, and songs for children ages 5 and under – Tuesdays at 10:00 AM in the Program Room.

August 26: Card Club. Join us the last Wednesday of the month to learn and play a variety of card games! Fun for all skill levels. No gambling, just games and good times. From Uno to Blackjack, Poker to Slapjack, there’s something for everyone. Feel free to bring your own game to teach, as well! 5:00 – 6:00 PM in the Howard Rutan Meeting Room.

August 26: Celebrate! Join the Children’s Department each month to learn about and celebrate different cultures with stories and food. Join us to celebrate the food and culture of India! 5:00 – 6:00 PM in the Program Room.

August 26: Dementia Resource Group. Join Synergy HomeCare and Villas of Holly Brook on the 4th Wednesday of each month. This welcoming gathering offers education, support, and conversation for individuals living with dementia, caregivers, loved ones, and community members, with a new topic each month, opportunities to share experiences, and light refreshments provided. 2:00 – 3:00 PM in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.

August 26: Little House Lunches – Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie – Free Library Screening! Spend your lunch hour on the prairie! Join us each Wednesday in August for exclusive free screenings of this new series.
