East Central Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council Golf Outing
To Our Labor Friends & Community Supporters,
We all know how great it is for us to be able to live and work in East Central Illinois. We also know that there are many in our immediate area who have not been as fortunate in life as we have been. A community’s primary responsibility is to its people. For this reason, the East Central Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council is hosting its 18th Annual Charity Golf Outing on Friday, September 11th, 2026, at Brookhill Golf Course in support of United Way of Champaign County.
The ECIB&CTC Annual Charity Golf Outing has allowed local community members and friends of labor to provide funds in support of programs that have a positive impact on the lives of people in East Central Illinois. Over $172,582 in total proceeds from previous outings have been donated through United Way in support of programs in our area that improve the lives of working families. As an example, a fund has been supported that provides food for high school food pantries in the area, and for the last 10 years, the proceeds from the outing have helped fund the printing of 7,000 “Getting Ready for Kindergarten” calendars that the United Way uses to support early childhood education. The United Way likes to think of this program as “Kids Under Construction.”
Together, by making this investment, we can build strong, vibrant communities in Champaign County that support workers and their families.
We thank you for your support. Attached, you will find two ways to get involved with the golf outing: through sponsorship and participation. Please fill out the appropriate forms and mail them in with your check by August 21, 2026, to:
